Welcome guests and loved ones this Easter with this beautiful handcrafted wreath that celebrates Australian Flora .. as well as a few hidden Easter eggs.
I start with a natural twig base and then weave in dozens of individual floral elements. I then nestle in the Easter Eggs. I never started off wanting to make an Easter Wreath but after requests, I came up with this design. It was my ambition to make something that did not look tacky, and still use Australian flora.
It makes for a special Easter adornment on your door to welcome your guests through this time of family and celebration.
EACH wreath takes me up to SEVEN hours to make, including cutting up and hand-painting some of the elements to make them look more real.
I package each wreath beautifully in a box – it makes for a thoughtful gift for that ‘hard to buy for’, loved one and you can then pack away your beautiful Easter wreath for next year – making it a great investment for many years to come.
I handmake each wreath; each one takes up to six hours to complete. As it is handmade and not made in a factory, yours will be similar to the one photographed, with some unique differences, as of course it is completely unique – made just for you by my hands, here in Melbourne.
